Siemens · FC1765DC Controller
This fault signifies that the requested configuration for the power unit is not supported by its hardware or firmware. Possible causes include requesting unsupported autonomous operation, an impermissible DRIVE-CLiQ timing, detection of an incompatible PM260 PS-ASIC version, or an incompatible combination of power unit and Control Unit/Adapter. Initialization failure due to premature Control Unit withdrawal can also trigger this. Operating with an unsupported configuration can lead to system instability, malfunction, or prevent the drive from starting altogether.
Click steps to track your progress.
Check the power unit's hardware version (e.g., on nameplate) and compare it with the selected hardware in the engineering software (e.g., STARTER/Tia Portal project).
Read out the firmware version of the power unit (r0018[0]) and consult the product manual for compatibility with the desired features.
Update the power unit's firmware to the latest compatible version using the engineering software's firmware update function.
Verify parameter P0100 (Motor type) and P0101 (Power unit type) are correctly set according to the installed power unit and motor.
Review the project configuration for any advanced features or operating modes (e.g., field weakening, P1300) that might not be supported by the current hardware/firmware combination.
