This alarm indicates that the sum of active offsets in geometry axes, fine offsets, or rotary components does not equal zero, leading to an inconsistency in the machine's positional calculations. Specific error codes (A-E) identify the type of offset problem (translatory, fine, or rotary for different axes). If not resolved, this can lead to incorrect machine movements, inaccurate positioning, and potentially damage to the workpiece or machine.
Click steps to track your progress.
1. Review all active geometry offsets, fine offsets, and rotary component offsets using the machine's display screens or relevant MD parameters.
2. Re-enter and meticulously verify the values for all pertinent offset machine data, ensuring they sum to zero as required by the kinematic model.
3. Perform a system reset (e.g., NC reset, power cycle of the control system) to clear any temporary calculation inconsistencies.
4. Check for any recent changes to machine data (MDs) related to kinematics or coordinate transformations and revert if unauthorized or incorrect.
5. If applicable, re-calibrate the machine's kinematic chain or execute a reference point approach (e.g., G74, G75) to re-establish a consistent base.
