Vacon · NXP AFE-II Drive
The drive's internal watchdog timer has detected an issue preventing normal microprocessor operation or startup. This can occur if the drive startup is prevented or a run request is active while a new application is being loaded. This fault indicates a critical internal control issue.
Click steps to track your progress.
Perform a full power cycle of the drive (turn off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn on) to attempt a hard reset of the microprocessor.
If a new option board was recently installed, remove it and re-test the drive. Ensure compatibility and proper seating of the option board.
Attempt to re-flash or update the drive's firmware to the latest stable version. This can resolve corrupted firmware issues.
Disconnect all external control signals (digital inputs, analog inputs, fieldbus) and attempt to power up the drive. Reconnect one by one to isolate external influences.
If the fault persists, the drive's main control board is likely faulty and requires replacement or factory service.
