61
Speed Error
Vacon · NX All-in-One Application
What does 61 mean?
The measured motor speed deviates significantly from the commanded speed reference. For Permanent Magnet Synchronous (PMS) motors, this can also indicate that the motor has exceeded its pull-out torque, leading to loss of synchronization.
Common Causes
- Motor speed deviates significantly from the setpoint (e.g., P1-01).
- Inadequate torque to maintain speed under load.
- Encoder feedback issues (e.g., lost pulses, incorrect resolution).
- Tuning parameters (e.g., P2-01 to P2-06) not optimized.
- Mechanical system exhibiting resonance or instability.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Inspect the encoder connection and wiring to ensure proper speed feedback to the drive.
- 2
Verify motor loading and ensure the motor is not operating beyond its pull-out torque capacity, especially for PMS motors.
