Device added (different type)

What does 45 mean?
A new option board of a different type has been added to the drive. The drive recognizes the new hardware but requires specific configuration to integrate it properly. Without correct parameter setup, the newly added option board may not function, or it could cause system instability.
Common Causes
- Installation of a new option board into an empty slot without proper configuration of the drive's parameters.
- Parameter P7-01 (Slot X Configuration) for the newly occupied slot is set to "0" (No option board) or an incorrect type.
- The drive's firmware does not support the newly added option board type.
- Newly added option board is not fully seated in its slot, preventing full detection but allowing partial recognition.
Repair Steps & Checklist

Set P7-01 to the correct value corresponding to the type of the newly added board (e.g., "1" for I/O board, "2" for fieldbus).
- 6
Save the new parameter settings and power cycle the drive.
