Yaskawa · F7 Drive
After communication started with the Digital Operator, it stopped for 2 seconds or more. This fault suggests issues with the Digital Operator cable, a defective operator unit, or a fault within the Drive's control board.
Click steps to track your progress.
Inspect the digital operator cable and connectors for any physical damage or loose connections; ensure they are securely fastened.
Measure the communication lines (e.g., RX/TX) between the drive and the operator using an oscilloscope to detect intermittent signal loss or noise.
Temporarily swap the digital operator unit with a known good one to isolate the fault to the operator or the drive's internal circuitry.
Verify stable control power (e.g., 24VDC) at the drive's control board terminals or operator unit connector using a multimeter.
Relocate the digital operator cable away from power cables or other high-current conductors to reduce potential EMI.
