Yaskawa · F7 Drive
The EEPROM check sum was not valid, indicating data corruption in the non-volatile memory. This can be caused by electrical noise or spikes on the control circuit input terminals, compromising the Drive's configuration data integrity.
Click steps to track your progress.
Safely power down the drive, then remove main and control power for at least 60 seconds to reset internal states, then reapply power.
Disconnect all control wiring from the drive's input terminals (e.g., S1-S8, A1-A3) to isolate external noise sources.
Measure the control power supply voltage (e.g., between SN and +24V terminals) for stability and correct voltage level (e.g., 24VDC).
Attempt to clear all parameters to factory defaults (e.g., Parameter A1-03=20) and re-enter required settings, if accessible.
Check grounding of the drive's chassis and the control panel for proper connection to earth ground (e.g., measure resistance < 0.1 Ohm).
