CoF

Current Offset Fault

Yaskawa · P1000

What does CoF mean?

An error related to the current offset calibration or measurement has occurred within the drive. This affects the accuracy of current readings and motor control.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Inspect motor power cables for damage, proper termination, and loose connections at both the drive output terminals and the motor terminal box.

  2. 2

Verify drive parameters related to motor data (nominal voltage, current, frequency, RPM) are accurately configured to match the motor nameplate.

  3. 3

Perform a static auto-tuning procedure (if safe and permissible) to allow the drive to recalibrate its motor model and current sensing.

  4. 4

Check the integrity of all ground connections for the drive, motor, and shielded motor cables to ensure proper grounding.

  5. 5

Cycle main power to the AC drive and motor, then monitor if the CoF fault reoccurs upon restart or run command.
