Hardware Fault

Yaskawa · P1000

What does oFx mean?

A general hardware fault has occurred within the drive. This category includes faults such as oFx, indicating an internal component malfunction and requiring internal diagnosis.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure incoming AC supply voltage at the drive's L1, L2, L3 input terminals and compare against the specified nominal voltage range.

  2. 2

Inspect all power (input, motor) and control wiring connections to the drive for proper torque, signs of corrosion, or physical damage.

  3. 3

Verify drive cooling fans are operational and ensure air circulation paths, including intake filters and exhaust vents, are clear of obstructions.

  4. 4

Disconnect the motor (U, V, W) from the drive's output terminals and re-energize the drive to determine if the oFx fault persists, isolating potential motor/cable issues.
