PF

Input Phase Loss

Yaskawa · P1000

What does PF mean?

The drive has detected a loss of one or more phases in its incoming AC power supply. This can lead to improper operation, reduced motor performance, or drive damage.

Repair Steps & Checklist

Click steps to track your progress.

  1. 1

Measure incoming AC supply voltage at the drive's R/L1, S/L2, T/L3 input terminals to confirm all phases are present, balanced, and within specifications.

  2. 2

Inspect all upstream power components (e.g., circuit breakers, fuses, contactors, wiring connections) for damage, loose terminals, or signs of overheating.

  3. 3

Verify the integrity and continuity of the incoming power feeder cables from the main distribution point to the drive's input terminals.

  4. 4

Check the drive's input power monitoring parameters (e.g., undervoltage trip levels, phase loss detection sensitivity) to ensure they are correctly configured for the incoming supply and not overly sensitive.
