¿Qué significa FF89 ?
Overtemperature has occurred in the choke of a liquid-cooled R8i inverter module. Excessive heat in the choke can reduce its magnetic properties and potentially lead to insulation breakdown, compromising drive performance and safety.
Causas comunes
- Insufficient flow rate or incorrect temperature of the cooling liquid circulating through the R8i module's choke cooling jacket.
- Partial or complete blockage in the cooling liquid circuit (e.g., filter clog, pump failure) reducing heat removal from the choke.
- Accumulation of scale or debris within the choke's liquid cooling channels, impairing heat transfer efficiency.
- Sustained operation above the choke's rated current (e.g., due to motor overload or short circuit conditions).
- Faulty temperature sensor (thermistor/PT100) providing an inaccurate reading from the choke.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
1. Verify the cooling liquid flow rate (e.g., liters/minute) to the R8i module and compare it to the drive's specified minimum flow.
- 2
2. Measure the temperature of the cooling liquid entering and exiting the R8i module's cooling circuit, checking for expected differential.
- 3
3. Inspect the cooling liquid filters for clogging and clean or replace as required, then check for pump operation.
- 4
4. Monitor the motor current (P1-15) and drive output current (P1-16) to ensure they are within the choke's continuous current rating.
- 5
5. Measure the resistance of the choke temperature sensor and compare it to the sensor's temperature-resistance curve to confirm accuracy.
