An external device configured as External Event 2 (parameters 31.03 and 31.04) has generated a warning. This indicates a potential issue with external equipment or sensors that should be investigated, though it may not cause an immediate drive trip. Addressing warnings proactively prevents escalation to faults.

• Elevated temperature on an external motor bearing, activating a thermal switch connected to the drive's configured digital input (P31.03, P31.04).
• Low fluid level in an external process tank, causing a level switch to trigger a warning signal on the digital input.
• Minor mechanical obstruction or drag in the connected machinery, increasing motor current marginally and triggering an external current monitoring relay set to a warning threshold.
• Loose wire connection or corrosion on the external sensor's output terminal, leading to an intermittent warning signal on the input.
