NoLoad

No Load Condition

Allen-Bradley · Compact 5000 Digital I/O Modules

¿Qué significa NoLoad ?

This condition exists when an output is commanded ON but no load current is detected, or the load device is disconnected. It is a diagnostic for standard output modules and can trigger a general 'Fault' tag. The tag automatically resets to 0 when the condition is removed.

Causas comunes

  • Load device is disconnected or not present at the output point
  • Break in the wiring between the module output and the load device
  • Load device failure (e.g., burned out coil, open circuit)

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify the load device connected to the output point is physically present and appears functional.

  2. 2

Measure the current draw at the output terminal when the output is commanded ON — expect current matching the load's rated value.

  3. 3

Check the continuity of the load circuit from the module output terminal through the load and back to the common connection.
