The module status indicator displaying a steady red light signifies that the module has encountered a nonrecoverable fault. This type of fault prevents the module from operating normally and cannot be cleared without a module replacement if a power cycle is unsuccessful. This indicates a critical failure requiring immediate attention.

• Internal hardware failure within the module (e.g., component failure, circuit board damage)
• Critical firmware corruption that prevents the module from booting or operating correctly
• Unrecoverable power supply issue to the module's internal components
