Excessive Position Error Amount During Stop
Fanuc · Series 20 CNC
¿Qué significa 410 ?
This alarm indicates that when the servo axis is commanded to stop, its actual position deviates from the commanded position by an amount exceeding a predefined tolerance (position error limit). This suggests an inability to hold position or an unexpected disturbance while stationary.
Causas comunes
- External force acting on the axis while stopped.
- Mechanical binding or excessive backlash in the axis.
- Insufficient holding torque from the servo motor or faulty brake (if equipped).
- Incorrect position gain (Parameter 1825) or stopping parameters for the servo.
- Faulty encoder or feedback system.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Check for any external forces, such as tooling weight or workpiece sag, that might be moving the axis while it is supposed to be stopped.
- 2
Inspect the mechanical system for backlash, play, or binding that allows movement when the motor is stopped.
- 3
Verify the servo motor's holding torque and the functionality of any mechanical brake, adjusting or repairing as necessary.
- 4
Review and adjust servo parameters related to position gain (e.g., Parameter 1825) and position error limits (e.g., Parameter 1829), ensuring they are appropriate for the application.
- 5
Monitor encoder feedback for stability and accuracy when the axis is stationary, checking for noise or erratic signals.
