Warning Motor temp. surveillance defective
Indramat · CLM01.3-M Flying Cutoff Control
¿Qué significa E221 ?
Temperature monitoring checks if the measured motor temperature is within reasonable bounds. If it determines the temperature is lower than -10 °C, the measuring unit is assumed to be defective. This warning appears for 30 seconds. Afterwards, the drive controller will stop according to the selected error response and F221 Error Motor temp. surveillance defective will be generated.
Causas comunes
- Motor temperature sensor not connected.
- Broken cable between the drive controller and the motor.
- Defective motor temperature sensor.
- Broken cable in the drive controller (internal wiring or sensor circuit).
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Verify the motor temperature sensor cable connection at both the motor and the Indramat DIAX04 SSE-03VRS drive controller. Ensure it is securely terminated according to project planning specifications.
- 2
Test the continuity and insulation resistance of the motor temperature sensor cable between the drive controller and the motor. Replace the cable if breaks or shorts are detected.
- 3
Measure the resistance of the motor temperature sensor directly at the motor terminals. Compare the measured value with the motor's specified sensor characteristics to determine if the sensor itself is defective.
- 4
If the external wiring and motor sensor are confirmed good, and the fault persists, consider that the motor temperature sensor input circuit within the Indramat DIAX04 SSE-03VRS drive controller may be faulty. Prepare for drive controller replacement.
