Bleeder Overtemperature Warning

¿Qué significa E252 ?

The internal or external braking resistor (bleeder) has reached a high operating temperature, nearing its maximum permissible limit. This warning indicates that continuous operation under these conditions may lead to an F220 shutdown of the ECODRIVE DKC01.1/DKC11.1 drive.

• Excessive regenerative energy due to frequent or rapid decelerations, or heavy overhauling loads.
• Improperly sized or faulty external braking resistor.
• Inefficient cooling or poor ventilation for the braking resistor.
• Overloading of the drive's internal bleeder circuit.

   Verify the duty cycle and deceleration rates of the application; consider extending deceleration times or reducing frequency.

   Inspect the external braking resistor for signs of overheating, proper connection, and verify its ohmic value.

   Ensure adequate airflow and ventilation around the braking resistor and within the control cabinet.

   Evaluate if the braking resistor is appropriately sized for the regenerative energy profile of the application.

   Monitor the DC bus voltage during braking events and the temperature of the bleeder if possible.
