Overvoltage PMx during charging

KPS Intermediate Circuit Overvoltage During Charging

Kuka · KR C2 Robot Controller

¿Qué significa Overvoltage PMx during charging ?

An overvoltage condition has been detected in the intermediate circuit of the KPS module (PMx) during its charging phase. This is typically caused by a mains voltage that is too high.

Causas comunes

  • Intermediate circuit voltage exceeds the safe limit during the charging process.
  • Power supply surge during system startup.
  • Faulty pre-charge resistor or circuit.
  • Incorrect charging sequence or timing.
  • External voltage transients.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Measure the incoming mains voltage at the KPS input terminals. If it exceeds specifications, identify the source of the high voltage.

  2. 2

If the mains voltage is consistently too high, consider installing a transformer to adjust the input voltage to the KPS.
