¿Qué significa 0050 ?

The heatsink temperature has exceeded +90°C (or >85°C as an earlier warning threshold, C0061). This can be caused by ambient temperatures (Tu) above +40°C or +50°C, a dirty heatsink impeding airflow, or an incorrect mounting position preventing adequate ventilation.

Causas comunes

  • Ambient temperature (Tu) in the control cabinet exceeding the drive's specified maximum (e.g., >40°C or +50°C).
  • Accumulation of dust, dirt, or debris on the drive's heatsink fins, blocking airflow and preventing effective heat dissipation.
  • Malfunctioning or failed cooling fan on the drive, leading to inadequate forced convection across the heatsink.
  • Insufficient ventilation or blocked air circulation within the control cabinet, causing hot air to be recirculated around the drive.
  • Sustained high motor load operation, causing the drive's power semiconductor losses to increase and thus heatsink temperature.

    Verify the control cabinet ambient temperature (e.g., using a thermocouple) is within the drive's specified operating range.

    Power down and lockout the drive, then thoroughly clean the heatsink fins with compressed air to remove dust and debris.

    Check the operation of the drive's internal cooling fan(s) (e.g., visually inspect for rotation, listen for abnormal noise).

    Inspect control cabinet filters and fans to ensure proper airflow and heat exchange, clean/replace filters if necessary.

    Reduce the drive's output current (e.g., by reducing motor load or extending acceleration/deceleration times C0012, C0013) to lower internal power losses.

    Verify parameter C0061 (heatsink overtemperature warning threshold) is set appropriately, not excessively low.
