This fault occurs when the device ID of the inverter has been manually changed. This requires specific steps to save the new ID and restart the inverter for the changes to take effect properly.
Causas comunes
- Manual modification of the inverter's device ID via a specific parameter (e.g., P610.01 or similar 'Device ID' parameter).
- Attempting to restore a parameter set from a different inverter with a conflicting device ID without following the proper confirmation procedure.
- A firmware update process that altered or reset the device ID, necessitating a save and restart action to apply the change.
- Replacing the control unit with one that has a different default device ID, and the change was not properly saved.

- 1
Confirm the current device ID by checking the relevant parameter (e.g., P610.01 or the specific 'Device ID' parameter for the inverter).
- 2
Save the changed device ID by activating the 'Save parameters' function (e.g., set parameter P0-02 to 1 and confirm the action).
- 3
Perform a complete mains power cycle of the inverter (disconnect and reconnect the main supply) to ensure the new ID is properly recognized.
- 4
Verify that the new device ID is correctly recognized by the network master (e.g., PLC) after the inverter restarts.
- 5
If the change was unintentional, revert the device ID to its original value and repeat steps 2-3.
