E.ECT
Wire break detection
Mitsubishi Electric · A500 Inverter
¿Qué significa E.ECT ?
The inverter output is stopped if the encoder signal is lost or turned off. This typically occurs during orientation, PLG feedback, or vector control when executed with the FR-A5AP, indicating a break or interruption in the encoder signal wire.
Causas comunes
- A break detected in a sensor wiring harness or communication line.
- Loose connection causing an open circuit in a critical signal path.
- Damage to the wire insulation leading to a physical break.
- Faulty sensor itself reporting an open circuit.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Check the encoder signal wires for continuity from the encoder to the FR-A5AP unit.
- 2
Inspect the encoder cable and connectors for any signs of damage, loose connections, or improper seating.
- 3
Verify the encoder is receiving proper power and generating signals, using an oscilloscope if available.
