Option Unit Unrecoverable Error

¿Qué significa E60. ?

This fault indicates that an unrecoverable error has been detected in an option unit mounted on the inverter, such as an EtherCAT Communications Unit. This is a critical hardware or firmware error within the option unit itself, leading to a trip. The inverter cannot restore normal operation until the option unit fault is resolved.

• Hardware failure or internal defect within the option unit itself (e.g., EtherCAT communication card, I/O expansion card).
• Firmware corruption or incompatibility on the option unit or between the option unit's firmware and the main inverter's firmware.
• Incorrect installation or poor seating of the option unit on the inverter's option slot, leading to unreliable electrical contact or communication.
• Electrical noise, ground loop issues, or unstable power supply affecting the reliable operation of the sensitive electronics within the option unit.

   Power cycle the inverter by removing and reapplying control power for at least 10 seconds. If the fault clears and then reoccurs, the issue is likely with the option unit.

   Disconnect power. Remove the option unit from its slot on the inverter, then re-insert it firmly, ensuring proper seating and connection. Torque any retaining screws.

   Visually inspect the option unit for any signs of physical damage, burnt components, or bent/corroded pins on its connector.

   Check the firmware versions of both the inverter and the option unit. Verify they are compatible according to the manufacturer's documentation. Update if necessary.

   If possible, try the option unit in a different, known good inverter, or try a known good option unit in the current inverter to isolate the faulty component (inverter vs. option unit).
