¿Qué significa PF Fan Err ?

An error has been detected within the VSD's fan module, indicating a potential malfunction or obstruction in the cooling system. Proper cooling is critical for drive operation, especially for models SX-D4045 or UP, to dissipate heat generated by power components. Neglecting this could lead to overheating and subsequent component damage or premature drive failure.

• Cooling fan motor winding failure or bearing seizure.
• Accumulation of dust, debris, or foreign objects obstructing fan blades.
• Fan speed feedback sensor malfunction (if equipped).
• Failed power supply circuit to the fan module.
• Restricted airflow into or out of the drive enclosure due to blocked vents or insufficient cabinet ventilation.

   Power down and disconnect drive from mains. Visually inspect fan blades for damage, debris, or obstruction.

   Attempt to rotate fan blades manually; they should turn freely without grinding.

   Measure voltage at the fan connector (if accessible) when drive is powered, comparing to specified fan voltage (e.g., 24VDC).

   Clean drive heatsink fins and ventilation openings using compressed air.

   Verify enclosure ventilation filters are clean and air circulation path is unrestricted.
