Communication Interruption (Keypad)

¿Qué significa COME ?

The communication link between the remote keypad and the soft starter has been interrupted. This message flashes after 20 retries within a 50 ms timeout, indicating a loss of connection.

• Loose or disconnected ribbon cable/communication cable connecting the remote keypad to the soft starter's communication port.
• Excessive electromagnetic interference (EMI) disrupting the communication signals between the keypad and soft starter.
• Faulty remote keypad unit or soft starter's communication port hardware.
• Incorrect keypad connection or usage of a non-compatible cable length or type.
• Physical damage to the communication cable (e.g., crushing, cut, broken conductor).

   1. Power down the soft starter, then carefully inspect and re-seat the communication cable connecting the keypad to the soft starter.

   2. Check the communication cable for any visible damage, cuts, or crushed sections and replace it with an identical, compatible cable if necessary.

   3. Ensure the communication cable is routed away from power cables or other sources of high electromagnetic interference (EMI).

   4. Test communication with a known good, compatible remote keypad to rule out a faulty keypad unit.
