Keypad ROM Trip

¿Qué significa rOME ?

A fault has been detected in the keypad's Read-Only Memory (ROM), which stores the keypad's firmware and essential data. This indicates an internal hardware failure within the keypad itself.

• Internal hardware failure of the keypad's Read-Only Memory (ROM) chip.
• Data corruption within the ROM due to electrical transients, aging, or manufacturing defect.
• Keypad exposed to extreme temperature or humidity causing component degradation.
• Firmware update failure or incomplete flash, leading to corrupted ROM data.

   1. Perform a power cycle of the soft starter by removing all power for at least 30 seconds to attempt to clear transient errors.

   2. Disconnect and reconnect the keypad communication cable to ensure a solid electrical connection and re-initialization.
