F00026

Supply to Gate Driver Not Enabled

Siemens · SINAMICS G120

¿Qué significa F00026 ?

The gate driver, which controls the inverter's power transistors (IGBTs), is not enabled. This critical internal fault prevents the inverter from generating output voltage and can be indicative of a hardware issue with the gate drive board or a synchronization problem within the safety state machines. This renders the drive inoperable.

Causas comunes

  • Internal control board failure preventing the gate driver supply from being activated.
  • Low or missing auxiliary power supply (e.g., 24VDC or 15VDC) to the gate driver circuits.
  • Detection of an overtemperature condition in the power stack, causing gate driver suppression.
  • Fault in the gate driver circuit itself (e.g., component failure on the gate driver board).
  • Incorrect or damaged fiber optic link (if used) between control board and gate driver.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Verify the presence and stability of auxiliary control voltages (e.g., 24VDC, 15VDC) on the control board or gate driver power supply points.

  2. 2

Check the drive's internal temperature sensors (e.g., heatsink temperature) via parameter readouts to ensure no overtemperature condition is present.

  3. 3

Inspect the connections between the main control board and the gate driver board(s) for tightness and correct seating.

  4. 4

If applicable, inspect the fiber optic cables connecting the control unit to the power module for damage or correct insertion.

  5. 5

Perform a full power cycle of the drive (e.g., disconnect mains for 1 minute) to reset internal states.
