Power unit: Internal overtemperature
Siemens · SINAMICS G120C Variable Speed Drive
¿Qué significa A30034 ?
The alarm threshold for the power unit's internal temperature has been reached. This indicates that the internal components are operating at elevated temperatures, potentially due to high ambient temperature, insufficient cooling, or a fan failure. If the temperature continues to rise, it may trigger fault F30036, leading to a drive trip and potential hardware damage.
Causas comunes
- Internal cooling fan failure or reduced speed due to bearing wear, leading to insufficient heat removal.
- Blocked internal airflow paths from significant dust accumulation on power components, circuit boards, and heatsinks.
- Ambient temperature inside the control cabinet consistently exceeding the drive's operating limits (e.g., 40°C).
- Continuous operation near maximum rated load, generating excessive heat that the cooling system cannot dissipate.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Measure the internal temperature reported by the drive (e.g., r0037, r0035) and compare to specified alarm thresholds.
- 2
Visually inspect all internal cooling fans for proper operation, free rotation, and clean fan blades.
- 3
Inspect internal heatsinks and components for dust buildup and clean with compressed air or an industrial vacuum (power off).
- 4
Measure the ambient temperature inside the control cabinet using a calibrated thermometer at various points.
- 5
Temporarily reduce motor load (r0027) or output power (r0029) to observe if the internal temperature decreases.
