The drive has detected an unknown device connected to one of its slots, such as an unrecognized power unit or option board. The drive cannot identify or utilize this device, rendering its functionality unavailable. This can lead to system instability or prevent expected operations.
Causas comunes
- An option board or device incompatible with the drive model or current firmware version is connected to a slot.
- A faulty option board is installed, preventing the drive from correctly identifying its unique signature.
- Improper installation of a compatible option board, such as incorrect orientation or insertion into an unsupported slot.
- Drive firmware corruption preventing recognition of valid hardware signatures for installed devices.
- Damaged communication lines or contacts between the main control board and the option slot.
