Causas comunes
- Installation of a new option board (e.g., I/O extension, fieldbus adapter, encoder feedback) into the drive.
- Replacement of an existing option board with a different type or version.
- Accidental removal and re-insertion of an option board, causing the drive to re-detect it.
- Option board or drive control board failure causing incorrect identification of hardware.
- Firmware incompatibility between the drive and the newly installed option board.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
Verify that the newly installed option board is the correct type and compatible with the drive model and firmware version.
- 2
If the option board was intentionally added, reload the application parameters from a backup file (e.g., using Drive Composer or control panel). The drive loaded defaults to protect against incorrect operation.
- 3
If no new option board was added, cycle power to the drive. Remove and re-seat all existing option boards to ensure proper connection.
- 4
If the fault persists without any hardware changes, the drive's control board or an existing option board may be faulty, causing misidentification.
- 5
Check the drive's diagnostic messages for specific option board identification (e.g., Menu 15-XX 'Option board status') to pinpoint which slot/board is causing the detection event.
