Speed Reference Loss (Adv. Code 0)

Vacon · X4

¿Qué significa 22 ?

This fault occurs when the drive's configured analog input signal, typically for speed or frequency reference, falls below a specified minimum level set by customer parameters. This indicates a loss or degradation of the command signal, potentially leading to uncontrolled operation or shutdown. The drive cannot receive proper commands.

Causas comunes

  • Analog input signal wire breakage or loose connection at drive terminals (e.g., AI1, GND) or signal source terminals.
  • External analog reference source (e.g., PLC analog output, potentiometer) malfunction or loss of its auxiliary power supply (e.g., 24VDC).
  • Drive parameter P3-01 (Analog Input Minimum) configured with a value higher than the actual lowest expected signal from the reference source.
  • Excessive electrical noise or electromagnetic interference (EMI) causing the analog signal to drop intermittently below the defined minimum threshold.
  • Internal fault on the drive's analog input circuit board or ADC converter, misinterpreting the actual input signal.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

Measure the analog input voltage or current at the drive's input terminals (e.g., AI1 to GND for voltage) using a calibrated multimeter. Verify it is above the value set in parameter P3-01.

  2. 2

Inspect the entire analog signal cable run from the source (e.g., PLC output terminal X3/1) to the drive's analog input terminals (e.g., A1, A2, A3) for continuity, secure connections, and proper shielding.

  3. 3

Verify the external analog signal source (e.g., PLC analog output module) is functioning correctly by measuring its output signal directly at its terminals.

  4. 4

Review drive parameters P3-01 (Analog Input Minimum) and P3-02 (Analog Input Max) to ensure they are set appropriately for the nominal range of the input signal (e.g., 0-10VDC, 4-20mA).

  5. 5

If an external potentiometer is used, measure its resistance across its terminals and test its voltage output stability across its full rotational range.
