¿Qué significa CPF04 ?
A fault in the CPU's internal A/D converter was detected, often caused by noise or spikes on the control circuit input terminals. This affects the drive's ability to accurately read internal analog signals, potentially leading to incorrect control or protection responses.
Causas comunes
- Excessive electrical noise or voltage transients on digital/analog control input terminals.
- Faulty internal CPU hardware responsible for the analog-to-digital conversion process.
- Poor grounding or common reference instability affecting internal ADC accuracy.
- Over-voltage or under-voltage conditions on internal 3.3V/5V power rails supplying the CPU.

1. Measure the input voltage at control terminals A1/A2 (analog input) for noise or erratic readings using a multimeter in AC mode.

2. Verify proper shielding and grounding of all analog and digital input cables connected to the control terminals.

3. Power cycle the drive completely, waiting at least 30 seconds for capacitor discharge, then reapply power.

4. Disconnect all external control wiring (except power) to determine if an external signal is causing the disturbance.

5. If the fault persists after isolation, replacement of the control board is necessary due to internal CPU damage.
