CPF05

CPU External A/D Converter Fault

Yaskawa · E7 Drive

¿Qué significa CPF05 ?

A fault in the CPU's external A/D converter was detected, often caused by noise or spikes on the control circuit input terminals. This affects the drive's ability to accurately read external analog signals, potentially leading to incorrect control or protection responses.

Causas comunes

  • External analog input signal (e.g., 0-10V or 4-20mA reference) exceeding specified voltage or current limits.
  • Excessive electrical noise or spikes on the external analog input wiring (e.g., AI1 or AI2 terminals).
  • Faulty external sensing device or transducer providing an unstable or incorrect analog signal.
  • Poor grounding or shielding of the analog input cables, allowing electromagnetic interference (EMI) ingress.
  • Damage to the control board's external ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) circuitry.

Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación

Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.

  1. 1

    1. Measure the voltage or current at the analog input terminals (e.g., AI1, ACOM) directly from the source to confirm signal integrity.

  2. 2

    2. Verify proper shielding and grounding of all external analog input cables back to the control panel's ground point.

  3. 3

    3. Disconnect all external analog input signals from the drive to determine if the fault is external to the drive.

  4. 4

    4. Check Parameter P2-01 (Analog Input Selection) and P2-02 (Analog Input Scale) for correct configuration matching the input type.

  5. 5

    5. Inspect the integrity of the common (ACOM) connection for the external analog input circuit.

  6. 6

    6. If the fault persists after isolating external signals, replacement of the control board is indicated.
