Comparator 2 Limit Error

¿Qué significa CP2 ?

This fault signifies that the value monitored by Comparator 2 (selected by H2-26) has deviated *outside* the acceptable range defined by H2-27 (Lower Limit) and H2-28 (Upper Limit). This condition indicates that the monitored parameter has either gone too high or too low, triggering a protection response. Depending on the specific parameter being monitored, this could point to an over-temperature, under-pressure, or other critical process excursion that risks equipment damage or process instability if not resolved.

• Analog input signal (P5-03) or digital input signal (P5-04) exceeded comparator 2 limit.
• Second external limit condition met or exceeded.
• Process variable reading outside safe operating zone.
• Error in the configuration of the second comparator.

   Examine the monitor value selected in H2-26 [Comparator 2 Monitor Selection] and the set limits (H2-27, H2-28) to understand the exact condition that triggered the fault.

   Identify and remove the root cause of the monitor value exceeding the defined range, adjusting process parameters, load, or external sensors as needed.

   If the comparator settings are incorrect for the application, adjust H2-26, H2-27, and H2-28 as needed.

   Review H2-01 to H2-03 (MFDO Function Selection) and H2-35 (Comparator2 Protection Selection) to ensure the desired fault response is configured. Perform a Fault Reset.
