Base Block Function Active
Yaskawa · V1000
¿Qué significa Base Block ?
The software base block function is currently assigned to one of the digital inputs and that input is in the 'off' state. This condition actively prevents the drive from accepting any Run commands, effectively stopping motor operation for safety or control reasons.
Causas comunes
- Digital input configured for Base Block (e.g., H1-0x = 8) is in an open or 'off' state.
- External safety relay or switch connected to the Base Block input terminal (e.g., S3) is open, preventing run commands.
- Incorrect wiring or loose connection on the digital input terminal assigned to the Base Block function (e.g., terminal S3).
- Drive parameter (e.g., H1-0x) mistakenly configured for Base Block activation without an appropriate input signal.
Pasos de reparación & Lista de verificación
Haga clic en los pasos para seguir su progreso.
- 1
1. Identify the digital input terminal (e.g., S3, S4) configured as a Base Block input by checking parameter H1-0x.
- 2
2. Verify the physical state of the identified digital input terminal. Measure voltage between the terminal and common (SC) to confirm input status (e.g., 24VDC for ON, 0VDC for OFF).
- 3
3. Inspect the wiring from the external control device (e.g., PLC, safety relay) to the Base Block input terminal for continuity and secure connections.
- 4
4. If an external safety circuit is involved, ensure it is closed and providing the expected input signal (e.g., 24VDC) to the Base Block terminal.
- 5
5. Temporarily disable the Base Block function by setting its assigned digital input parameter (e.g., H1-0x) to 'Not Used' to confirm if the fault clears.
