Auxiliary Input
Allen-Bradley · PowerFlex 40 Adjustable Frequency
Hva betyr F2 ?
This fault indicates an issue with a remote auxiliary input. This input is typically configured to trigger a fault condition when active or inactive, depending on the setup. This is an Auto-Reset/Run type fault configurable with parameters A092 and A093.
Vanlige årsaker
- Auxiliary input wiring fault (e.g., open circuit, short circuit) causing an unexpected state at the drive's digital input (e.g., S3).
- External control device (e.g., limit switch, E-stop button) connected to the auxiliary input has failed or is in an unexpected state (e.g., stuck open/closed).
- Incorrect configuration of the auxiliary input's fault logic (e.g., P051 [Auxiliary Input Sel]) or state (e.g., Normally Open/Normally Closed) in the drive.
- Loss of the 24VDC control power supply to the auxiliary input circuit or the external control device.
- Interference or electrical noise on the auxiliary input signal line causing sporadic activation or deactivation.
Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste
Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Measure the voltage across the auxiliary input terminals (e.g., S3, S4) relative to common (e.g., S1) on the drive to verify its active/inactive state.
- 2
Check continuity of the auxiliary input wiring from the external device (e.g., limit switch) to the drive terminals.
- 3
Verify drive parameter P051 [Auxiliary Input Sel] and its configured logic (e.g., N.O. or N.C. for the fault condition).
- 4
Actuate the external control device manually and observe the input status on the drive's digital input monitoring screen.
- 5
Confirm the 24VDC control power supply feeding the auxiliary input circuit is present and stable using a multimeter.
