Axis address
Beckhoff · TwinCAT 2 NC
Hva betyr 4641 ?
The drive does not recognize its assigned axis, or the axis address has not been properly initialized. This prevents the drive from establishing correct communication and control with its corresponding virtual axis within the NC system. As a result, the drive cannot receive commands or provide feedback for coordinated motion.
Vanlige årsaker
- Axis address parameter (e.g., P0-02, Node ID, Station Address) not set or set incorrectly in the drive configuration.
- Duplicate axis address on the communication bus (e.g., EtherCAT, PROFINET) with another drive or network device.
- PLC/motion controller configuration assigning an invalid or conflicting axis address to the drive in its network topology.
- Communication bus failure preventing the drive from receiving its axis address from the master controller (e.g., broken cable, faulty switch).
- Drive hardware fault impacting the communication interface or non-volatile memory where the address is stored.

Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.
- 1
Power down the drive and verify the physical DIP switch settings for the axis address (e.g., on the drive front panel) match the intended Node ID.
- 2
Connect to the drive using commissioning software and confirm the axis address parameter (e.g., P0-02) is correctly set and saved to non-volatile memory.
- 3
Check the network configuration of the PLC/motion controller to ensure no other device on the bus is assigned the same axis address.
- 4
Inspect the communication cable (e.g., Ethernet, RS-485) between the drive and the controller for damage, proper termination, and secure connections.
- 5
Perform a network scan from the PLC/master controller to detect all connected devices and their assigned addresses, comparing with expected values.
