The Energy Charge Module's (ECM) Capacitor Modules are not discharging as expected, possibly due to a fault in the Resistor Module (A06B-6158-H030) or its control circuit. This indicates a failure in the controlled release of stored energy, which could lead to overvoltage.

• Faulty discharge resistor element in the ECM.
• Control signal issue for the discharge circuit (ECM).
• Overload condition preventing proper discharge of the resistor module.

   Immediately stop the machine using the emergency stop button and open the external Main Circuit Contactor (MCC) of the Power supply.

   Check the Resistor Module (A06B-6158-H030) for any visible damage, signs of overheating, or a blown fuse. Its expected resistance is 30 ohm (page 578).

   Inspect the wiring of the discharge circuit between the ECM Control Module (A06B-6158-H010) and the Resistor Module for breaks or loose connections.

   Verify the control signals that initiate discharge to the Resistor Module, ensuring they are correctly issued by the Control Module.

   If the alarm persists, the Resistor Module may be faulty and require replacement.
