E. LF

Output phase failure protection

Mitsubishi Electric · FR-E500 Inverter

Hva betyr E. LF ?

This function stops the inverter output if an open phase condition is detected in one of the three output phases (U, V, W) on the load side. An open phase can lead to motor overheating, vibration, and damage, or unstable operation.

Vanlige årsaker

  • Disconnection or open circuit in one of the motor phases (U, V, or W) or in the motor wiring.
  • An open winding or other internal fault within the motor.
  • The capacity of the connected motor is significantly smaller than the inverter capacity, potentially leading to inaccurate detection at low loads.

Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste

Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.

  1. 1

Inspect the wiring connections between the inverter output terminals (U, V, W) and the motor for any loose connections or breaks.

  2. 2

Measure the resistance across the motor phases (U-V, V-W, W-U) to check for an open winding or significant imbalance.

  3. 3

Verify that the motor's rated capacity is appropriate for the inverter's output capability.
