Internal Fault

This fault signifies a general internal malfunction within the drive controller, possibly related to internal circuitry or connections. Electromagnetic interference (EMI) can sometimes induce such faults, or it could be a hardware failure. Continued operation with an internal fault is not possible and requires immediate attention to prevent further damage or unexpected behavior.

• Electromagnetic interference (EMI) exceeding the drive's immunity levels, affecting internal control logic or processors.
• Malfunctioning internal power supply components (e.g., DC-DC converters) on the control board within the drive.
• Loose internal connections or ribbon cables within the drive enclosure, leading to intermittent signal loss.
• Corruption of internal firmware or memory due to severe power fluctuations or unexpected shutdowns.
• Aging or defective internal components (e.g., capacitors, ICs) failing due to thermal stress or lifespan limitations.

   Cycle input power (L1, L2, L3) to the drive controller completely OFF for 5 minutes, then switch ON again.

   Verify proper grounding of the drive controller and motor according to installation guidelines. Measure ground resistance.

   Inspect the drive's internal components for visible damage (e.g., bulging capacitors, burnt resistors) if safe and accessible (power OFF).

   Check all internal ribbon cable connections within the drive controller for secure seating and proper alignment (power OFF).
