Lag Error Exceeded

This fault occurs when the defined lag error window is exceeded in automatic mode. The lag error represents the distance from the external encoder position to the virtual master encoder position. Exceeding this set tolerance causes the axis system to stop to maintain synchronized operation.

• The actual position deviates from the commanded position beyond a defined tolerance.
• Motor encoder feedback is not keeping up with motion demands.
• Inadequate servo loop tuning leading to excessive tracking error.
• Mechanical load or inertia exceeding controller capabilities.
• High acceleration or velocity commands causing position lag.
