Temperature sensor fault

Hva betyr A30920 ?
An error occurred during the evaluation of a temperature sensor connected to the power unit. This can manifest as a wire breakage or a disconnected sensor (e.g., KTY: R > 2120 Ohm) or a measured resistance that is too low (e.g., PTC: R < 20 Ohm, KTY: R < 50 Ohm). Accurate temperature monitoring is crucial for protecting the power unit from overheating. If unaddressed, this could lead to undetected overheating and potential damage to components.
Vanlige årsaker
- Open circuit or broken wire in the temperature sensor cable (e.g., PT100, KTY84-130) connected to the power unit terminal block.
- Temperature sensor resistance measurement (e.g., KTY84-130) exceeding the upper threshold (e.g., 2120 Ohm) indicating a high resistance fault.
- Short circuit in the temperature sensor cable or sensor element, resulting in a resistance measurement below the lower threshold (e.g., < 100 Ohm for KTY).
- Corroded or loose connection at the power unit sensor input terminals (e.g., X10-1, X10-2), increasing contact resistance.
- Incorrect sensor type configured in drive parameter P0601 (e.g., NTC selected instead of KTY84-130).

- 1
De-energize the power unit and measure the resistance of the connected temperature sensor directly at its terminals (e.g., X10) using a calibrated multimeter.
- 2
Compare the measured sensor resistance against the manufacturer's specified resistance curve for the actual motor temperature (e.g., KTY84-130 @ 20°C should be ~580 Ohms).
- 3
Verify the continuity of the sensor cable by performing a continuity test from the sensor element to the power unit terminal block (e.g., X10) using a multimeter.
- 4
Check parameter P0601 (Motor temperature sensor type) and ensure it is configured correctly for the installed sensor (e.g., 1=PT100, 2=KTY84-130).
- 5
Inspect the temperature sensor cable for physical damage, pinching, or exposure to excessive heat along its entire length.
- 6
Measure the insulation resistance of the temperature sensor cable to ground using a megohmmeter (e.g., 500VDC test voltage).
