No-Load Current Fault

Yaskawa · F7 Drive

Hva betyr Er - 05 ?

During Auto-Tuning, this fault signifies that the process did not complete within the specified time or the measured no-load current was outside the expected range. This can be caused by incorrect motor data, wiring issues, or a connected load influencing the no-load measurement. An incorrect no-load current value will lead to suboptimal motor parameterization and control.

Vanlige årsaker

  • Incorrect motor rated speed (P2-04) or rated frequency (P2-06) entered into the Drive.
  • Motor operated with a significant mechanical load present during the no-load tuning process.
  • Incorrect motor rated current (P2-02) specified, causing the Drive to expect a different no-load value.
  • Damaged motor bearings or shaft causing excessive friction and higher than expected no-load current.

Reparasjonssteg & Sjekkliste

Klikk på steg for å spore fremgangen.

  1. 1

    1. Ensure the motor is completely uncoupled from any mechanical load before attempting Auto-Tuning.

  2. 2

    2. Confirm the motor nameplate data for P2-04 (Motor Rated Speed) and P2-06 (Motor Rated Frequency) is accurately entered.

  3. 3

    3. Verify parameter P2-02 (Motor Rated Current) is set according to the motor's nameplate specification.

  4. 4

    4. Observe the motor's mechanical rotation for any unusual noise or vibration during tuning, which could indicate bearing issues.

  5. 5

    5. If available, measure the motor's no-load current independently with a clamp-on ammeter to compare against the Drive's measured value during tuning.
