Persistent EEPROM errors can prevent parameter saving, configuration changes, or proper drive initialization.

• Transient power disturbance (e.g., voltage spike, sag) during the parameter save operation, corrupting the write process.
• High levels of electromagnetic interference (EMI) in the control cabinet, disrupting the internal memory bus during an EEPROM write.
• Repeated power cycles or abrupt shutdowns while parameters are being written or saved automatically.
• Internal hardware defect within the drive's control board or EEPROM chip itself, preventing reliable data storage.
• Corruption of configuration data, leading to invalid data being written to the EEPROM.
