What does 80A0 mean?

An analog input signal has gone outside the predefined minimum or maximum limits. This fault is programmable and prevents the drive from operating with out-of-range sensor feedback, which could lead to incorrect control, erratic behavior, or damage to connected equipment.

Complete Troubleshooting Guide

  1. 1

Check the actual signal level at the affected analog input (e.g., AI1, AI2).

  2. 2

Examine the auxiliary code for specific details (e.g., LessMIN, GreaterMAX) if visible on the control panel.

  3. 3

Inspect the wiring connected to the analog input for breaks, shorts, or interference.

  4. 4

Review the minimum and maximum limits configured for the input in parameter group 12 Standard AI.
