3381

Output phase loss

ABB · ACS880 Primary Firmware

What does 3381 mean?

The drive trips when a motor phase loss is detected. This indicates an interruption in one or more phases supplying power to the motor, which can cause motor overheating, damage, or inefficient operation if not addressed.

Additional Steps

Steps 1–2 are listed in Priority Fix.

  1. 3

Inspect the motor's internal windings for any signs of damage or open circuits, using a multimeter if necessary.

  2. 4

Ensure the motor is correctly sized for the application and operating within its rated current limits to prevent thermal stress.
