What does 234 mean?
This error occurs when attempting to assign POWERREADYINPUT or POWERREADYOUTPUT to an input/output configured with incompatible settings (e.g., INPUTMODE, INPUTACTIVELEVEL, OUTPUTACTIVELEVEL). It also occurs if a subsequent attempt is made to alter the configuration of an input/output that has already been assigned as the POWERREADYINPUT or POWERREADYOUTPUT.
Common Causes
- Attempting to assign POWERREADYINPUT/POWERREADYOUTPUT to an I/O terminal that has an incorrect or incompatible configuration (e.g., wrong INPUTMODE for an input).
- Modifying the configuration parameters (e.g., INPUTMODE, INPUTACTIVELEVEL, OUTPUTACTIVELEVEL) of an I/O that is already designated as POWERREADYINPUT/OUTPUT.
- Conflicts in the Mint Program or Configuration File regarding I/O terminal assignments for the power ready function.
- Incorrect parameter settings for INPUTMODE, INPUTACTIVELEVEL, or OUTPUTACTIVELEVEL for the designated power ready I/O.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Review the Mint Program and Configuration File to identify the settings of the input/output assigned as POWERREADYINPUT or POWERREADYOUTPUT.
- 2
Ensure that the assigned input/output's configuration parameters (e.g., INPUTMODE, INPUTACTIVELEVEL, OUTPUTACTIVELEVEL) are compatible with its role as a power ready signal.
- 3
Avoid attempting to reconfigure an input/output once it has been designated as POWERREADYINPUT/OUTPUT without first unassigning its role.
- 4
Verify that there are no duplicate or conflicting assignments of the POWERREADYINPUT/OUTPUT across different I/O terminals in the program.
