What does 30029 mean?
The controller (MotiFlex e180, MicroFlex e190) has detected an ambient temperature lower than -5 °C. The drive cannot be enabled or operated under these conditions to prevent damage or unreliable performance.
Common Causes
- The ambient temperature in the drive cabinet or installation environment has fallen below the specified minimum operating temperature of -5 °C.
- Inadequate heating in the installation environment, especially during cold weather conditions.
Repair Steps & Checklist
Click steps to track your progress.
- 1
Increase the ambient temperature around the drive and within the drive cabinet until it is above the minimum operating limit of -5 °C.
- 2
Implement appropriate heating solutions for the drive cabinet or installation environment if operating in consistently cold conditions.
- 3
Monitor the ambient temperature to ensure it remains within the specified operating range for the MicroFlex e190 or MotiFlex e180 drive before attempting to enable the drive.
- 4
Allow sufficient time for the drive to warm up to an acceptable operating temperature.
