What does FieldPowerOff mean?
This diagnostic indicates a field power off condition exists on the module or a specific test point. It signifies a loss of external power supplied to the module's I/O terminals, which powers the connected field devices. The tag automatically resets to 0 when the condition is removed.
Common Causes
- Loss of 24VDC field power supply to the module's I/O terminals
- Disconnected or damaged wiring for the field power supply
- Tripped circuit breaker or blown fuse in the field power supply circuit
