Channel Data Inaccurate or Faulted

What does Ptxx.Fault mean?

This boolean tag indicates that the channel data for Ptxx (either input or output) is inaccurate and cannot be trusted for use in the application. A tag value of '1' signifies bad data or a faulted condition. For safety modules, this can also occur if the channel is configured as 'Not Used'.

• An underlying hardware fault on the specific channel Ptxx (e.g., short circuit, internal module fault, overload, field power loss).
• The channel Ptxx is intentionally set to 'Not Used' in the module configuration (specifically for safety modules).
