Recoverable Module Fault or Connection Timeout
Allen-Bradley · Compact 5000 I/O Analog Modules
What does ModuleStatus:FlashingRed mean?
The Module Status indicator is flashing red, which can signify several conditions: a module firmware update is in progress or failed, the device has experienced a recoverable fault, or a connection to the module has timed out. The specific cause needs to be determined via software diagnostics.
Common Causes
- Module firmware update is in progress
- Module firmware update attempt failed
- Device experienced a recoverable internal fault
- Connection to the module has timed out (e.g., due to cable failure)
